Use a nickname (not your real, full name) but do let me know who you are and what class you are from. You won’t need a password unless you create a permanent login.

Chatroom

This chatroom is located on the GeekShed IRC network. If you prefer to use an IRC client to join the chatroom, use this information:

• Server: us.geekshed.net
• Port: 6667 (alternative ports are available)

Once you get connected, you need to join the correct chatroom by typing this: /join #hokies

You can find much more information on how IRC works on the GeekShed website. Generally, you should be able to talk simply by typing your message. Just don’t begin with a slash (/).
